These general terms apply to everyone who uses Croply (www.croply.pro), whether you are a farmer, an expert, or a merchant. The role-specific terms below apply in addition to these.
These Terms and Conditions are a legal agreement between you and Croply. By clicking "Sign Up" or using the platform, you are officially agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and to our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the platform.
Croply is a technology platform that connects farmers with independent agricultural experts and with merchants selling agricultural inputs.
The Middleman: We are a technology provider. We do not provide agricultural advice ourselves, and we are not the seller of products listed by merchants.
Independent Parties: Experts and merchants on Croply are independent businesses and professionals. They are not employees or agents of Croply.
Age: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when signing up and to keep it updated.
Security: You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for all activity that happens under your account.
We aim for 100% uptime, but we don't guarantee the platform will always be error-free or available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we detect fraudulent activity, misuse of the platform, or a violation of these terms.
You may request deletion of your account at any time through the Delete Account page or by contacting support.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Croply shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, including loss arising from advice given by experts or products sold by merchants.
You acknowledge that you use the platform at your own risk.
Croply may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Continuing to use the platform after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir.

Croply lets you discover and book independent experts in horticulture, animal husbandry, floriculture, and agronomy.
The Experts: Every expert you see on our platform is an independent freelancer. They are not employees or agents of Croply.
While we strive to host high-quality consultants, Croply acts only as a venue for connection.
No Responsibility for Damages: Croply shall not be held liable for any loss or damage—financial, physical, or agricultural—resulting from your interaction with an expert.
Advice Risk: Farming is a complex business with many variables (weather, soil, pests). We do not guarantee that an expert's advice will lead to specific results. If an expert's recommendation leads to crop failure, livestock loss, or any other damage, you agree that your sole recourse is against the expert directly, not Croply.
Field Visit Safety: For physical visits, Croply is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or property damage that may occur on your farm.
We value the time of our freelance experts. Therefore, our refund policy is strictly enforced:
Before Confirmation: You may cancel a booking and receive a refund only before the expert has confirmed the booking.
Once Confirmed: Once the expert marks the booking as "Confirmed," no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Processing Time: If a refund is approved (due to cancellation before confirmation), it will be processed and cleared within 3 to 7 business working days.
By signing up, you agree that Croply may use your information for business growth and marketing:
Promotional Use: We may use your feedback, general location (e.g., "A farmer in Punjab"), and your success stories for our advertisements and social media.
Direct Marketing: We may use your contact details to send you updates, newsletters, or promotional offers regarding our services.
Data Security: While we use your info for growth, we will never sell your private financial data to third parties.
Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate details about your farm and issues to ensure the expert can provide the best possible advice.
Payment: You agree to pay the fees displayed on the platform at the time of booking.
Safe Environment: For field visits, you agree to provide a safe environment for the expert to work in.
Farming is unpredictable enough—your legal terms shouldn't be. By signing up, you acknowledge that you are using this platform at your own risk and that Croply is here to connect you, not to manage your farm or take responsibility for the experts' independent work.
This agreement governs your relationship with Croply as an independent freelance consultant. By registering as an Expert, you agree to the following terms.
As an independent freelancer, you are solely responsible for the professional advice you provide.
Sole Liability: You acknowledge that Croply is only a platform to connect you with Farmers. Croply is not responsible for any damages, crop failure, livestock loss, or financial setbacks a Farmer may experience based on your recommendations.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Croply harmless from any legal claims, lawsuits, or demands made by Farmers or third parties arising from your consultancy, field visits, or professional misconduct.
Field Visit Risk: If you conduct a field visit, you do so at your own risk. Croply is not liable for your travel safety or any incidents occurring on the Farmer's property.
Your earnings are managed through a request-based system:
The "Earned Balance": Your platform wallet will reflect the total amount earned from successfully completed and confirmed sessions (minus Croply's service commission).
Payout Requests: Payouts are not automatic. You must manually request a payout by entering the specific amount you wish to withdraw.
Eligibility: Croply will only initiate a payout if your "Earned Balance" is equal to or greater than the amount you have requested.
Processing Time: Once a valid request is submitted, Croply will initiate the transfer to your registered bank account/payment method within our standard processing window.
The Confirmation Rule: A Farmer can cancel and receive a refund only before you confirm the booking.
Commitment: Once you mark a booking as "Confirmed," the Farmer is no longer entitled to a refund. In return, you are legally bound to fulfill that consultation.
Service Failure: If you confirm a booking but fail to provide the call or visit, the Farmer may raise a dispute. If found at fault, you will not receive payment for that session, and repeated failures will lead to account termination.
By joining Croply, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide license to use your professional identity for marketing purposes:
Publicity: We may use your name, photo, bio, area of expertise, and success stories in our digital advertisements (Facebook, Google, Instagram), print media, and promotional videos to attract Farmers to the platform.
Trust Badges: We may highlight your ratings and reviews to promote the quality of the Croply Expert network.
To keep the platform secure and fair, you agree not to bypass Croply.
You shall not solicit Farmers to pay you directly outside the platform for services initiated on Croply.
Sharing personal contact details to move a Croply-sourced lead to a private contract is a violation of these terms and will result in the immediate forfeiture of your remaining "Earned Balance" and a permanent ban.
You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Croply.
You are responsible for your own equipment, mobile data, and travel expenses.
You are responsible for filing and paying your own taxes (GST, Income Tax, etc.) on the earnings you withdraw from the platform.
You warrant that all educational degrees, certifications, and experience levels listed on your profile are 100% accurate. Croply reserves the right to verify these documents at any time. Providing false information is grounds for immediate legal action and account deletion.
By signing up on www.croply.pro, you confirm that you are an independent professional, you accept full liability for your consultancy, and you agree to the payout and marketing terms listed above.
These terms govern your use of Croply as a merchant listing and selling agricultural inputs such as fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and tools. By registering as a Merchant, you agree to the following terms.
Croply provides a marketplace where you can list your products and receive orders from farmers.
Seller of Record: You are the seller of every product you list. Croply is not a party to the sale and does not own, stock, or inspect your products.
Independent Business: You operate as an independent business, not as an employee, agent, or partner of Croply.
You are solely responsible for complying with all laws that apply to the products you sell, including:
Dealer Licences: Holding valid licences or authorisations required under the Insecticides Act, 1968, the Fertiliser (Control) Order, 1985, the Seeds Act, 1966, and any applicable state rules.
Banned Products: You shall not list any product that is banned, restricted, unregistered, or not approved for sale in India.
Taxes: You are responsible for charging, collecting, and paying all applicable taxes (GST, etc.) and for issuing valid invoices.
Croply may ask you to provide copies of your licences at any time and may remove listings or suspend your account if you cannot provide them.
Genuine Products: You warrant that every product you sell is genuine, unexpired, properly labelled, and matches its description and images.
Pricing & Stock: You agree to keep prices and stock levels accurate and up to date. You must honour the price shown at the time an order is placed.
Usage Information: Product descriptions must not contain false or misleading claims about results, dosage, or safety.
Timely Dispatch: Once you receive an order, you agree to pack and dispatch it promptly and safely.
Status Updates: You must keep the order status accurate on the platform (Ordered, Shipped, On the Way, Delivered) so farmers know where their order is.
Safe Handling: Chemicals and pesticides must be packed and transported in line with their label instructions and applicable safety rules.
Before Shipment: An order may be cancelled by you or the farmer before it is marked as "Shipped." Any payment for a cancelled order will be refunded to the farmer.
Your Responsibility: If a farmer receives a wrong, damaged, defective, or expired product, you are responsible for replacing it or bearing the cost of the refund.
Disputes: Croply may review disputes between you and a farmer and may withhold or reverse the payment for an order while a dispute is being resolved.
Earnings: Payment for an order becomes eligible for payout once the order is marked as "Delivered," minus Croply's platform commission and any applicable charges.
Payouts: Croply will transfer eligible earnings to your registered bank account according to our standard payout schedule.
Deductions: Croply may deduct refunds, chargebacks, or penalties arising from your orders from your pending or future earnings.
Sole Liability: You are solely responsible for the quality, safety, legality, and performance of the products you sell. Croply is not responsible for any crop damage, health issues, or financial loss caused by your products.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Croply harmless from any claims, penalties, lawsuits, or demands made by farmers, regulators, or third parties arising from your products, listings, or conduct.
By joining Croply, you allow us to use your shop name, logo, product images, and ratings in our advertisements, social media, and promotional material to attract farmers to the platform.
You agree not to bypass Croply. You shall not ask farmers who found you on Croply to place orders or pay you directly outside the platform. Doing so may result in the forfeiture of pending earnings and a permanent ban.
Croply may remove listings, suspend, or permanently terminate your account without notice if you sell counterfeit, expired, or banned products, repeatedly fail to fulfil orders, receive repeated valid complaints, or otherwise violate these terms.
